Poolex MAG R heat pumps are ideal for heating small above-ground pools, they are up to 5x more economical to run than a standard electric heater and their low flow rate requirement makes them perfect for use with the pump and filter sets supplied with smaller pools. The MAG R features a self-defrost system and will operate in ambient air temperatures as low as -5 degrees, the MAG R is ideal for Summer use on small above-ground pools, if you would like to further extend your swimming season please speak to us about selecting a larger heat pump. The MAG R features Wi-Fi temperature control using the Smart Life App, available for iOS and Android smart devices. Important: the heat output on the MAG5R model has up to 5kW of heat for every kW of energy used, this is based on air temperature of 26°C, water temperature of 26°C and target temperature of 27-28°C, the cooler the air temperature the lower the heat output, therefore a target temperature of 28°C will be more difficult to achieve on a larger pool in cooler weather, please speak to us if you would like help sizing a heat pump. Ideal for Intex and Bestway above-ground pools that come supplied with filter pumps, maximum flow rate required 2.5m³/h (2,500 l/h). Automatic defrosting, suitable for use when the air temperature down to -5°C.
Water temperature real time indications with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity - requires iOS. Maximum input power 1.5kW, maximum input current 6.9A. Plug and play, comes with mains cable and European two pin plug and an adaptor. Supplied with hose tails to accept 32/38mm push fit flexible hose. Twisted Titanium heat exchanger, chlorine and salt resistant.
Comes with User Manual (Download only) and 2 x 32mm Hosetails so that you can use 32/38mm Flexi Hose. This was a sample unit and although it has a small scratch on the top it is brand new and was tested only.
