INTEX Krystal Clear Salt Water System CG-26664 - NEW originally packed. Connection 220 - 240V (EU plug) To use it in the US, you could use a simple 110V to 220V step up converter (power draw is 30W) - check with your electrician. Has to work together with filter pump. For above ground pools up to 17000L (4500 gal).

Programmable self cleaning cycle (6/10/14 hour cycles). Uses inexpensive 100% salt (non iodized). Enjoy the same process used in many resorts and in-ground swimming pools to keep your pool sparkling clear with less maintenance. The water is treated by means of salt electrolysis, which means that chlorine is not added. During installation of your Saltwater System, a measured quantity of salt is dissolved in the pool water.

The pool water passes through the system to produce chlorine - which is dissolved in the water. The chlorine destroys bacteria and algae. Salt water systems are not suitable for stainless steel pools, steel jacketed pools, stainless steel and bronze components. When using a stainless steel conductor, a zinc plate is necessary for equipotential bonding. Please note that the unit comes with EU plug (220-240V, 50/60Hz).
